Honda's CBR motorcycles have been the go to bike for many entry-level riders for many, many years. It's been so successful for the plain simple fact that it's a seriously good sportbike. The CBR300R is Honda's current entry-level sportbike. It's one of the best bikes the company has ever put out in my opinion. It's fast, fun, lightweight and damn good looking. If you're in the market for sportbike that's evolved from years of other trustworthy bikes, the CBR300R is an excellent choice.
The CBR300R weighs just over 350 lbs, has a low seat height of 30.7 inches and uses a powerful 286cc liquid-cooled single cylinder engine. Aside from that it's got up-to-date technology, a comfy little seat and attractive styling.
I'm not a huge fan of the colors Honda has for the bike (black, yellow and orange), but beyond that, it's a sharp looking bike. At a starting price of $4,399, its hard to say no to this thing. If you're really interested in it, I suggest looking for a used one. There are tons of these bikes out there that have only been lightly used.
