Don't forget about gloves when you're buying riding gear. Too many riders cruise around without any protection on their hands. This means if they go down they're going to mangle their fingers and palms. What's your first reaction when you go down? To put your hands out. This natural impluse will destroy your hands if you don't have some good gloves on. What's a good pair? Roland Sands Barfly Gloves
Roland Sands Design makes some of the most impressive and cool gear and parts out on the market. The company has a ton of products and they're all high quality. The Barfly Gloves are no exception.
The barfly gloves are a pair of simple, vintage-style gloves that look good on just about any rider or with any bike. They feature soft but tough leather, are perforated on the back of the hand and reinforced on the palm and crook of the thumb and forefinger. There's an elastic band and a single strap at the wrist.
The leather that Roland Sands uses is of high quality. The company's leather jackets are no joke and the Barfly Gloves are made from the same high-quality material. These things will keep your hands safe and they look really good. Form and function is what Roland Sands is all about and these gloves demonstrate that well.
The Barfly Gloves come in black, tobacco (brown), steel (bluish gray) and sand (white). They look good in every color and can be had in any size from small to 2XL. These gloves are supposed to fit snugly, so you can expect them to be a little tight. The leather will no doubt stretch a bit over time as the gloves are broken in.
The thing that I like best about the Barfly Gloves is that you don't have to have any other Roland Sands products for them to still look good. Just match the color to whatever else you own and these gloves will blend perfectly with the rest of your riding gear.
If, however, you're interested in matching your gloves to your jacket, Roland Sands does have a Barfly Jacket, which is attractive and made from the same good materials and high-quality craftsmanship that the gloves are. Check it out below.
